Troy James Jackson Jr. was born on July 10,
1952 to the late deacon Troy James Jackson, Sr. and Bishop Viola Jackson in
Willacoochee, Georgia. He is the 5th child of the family from this small
hamlet in South Georgia. He graduated from Atkinson County High School,
Pearson, GA. He received an A.S. Degree from South Georgia College,
Douglas, GA, with further studies at Valdosta State University and the
University of Illinois.
Pastor Jackson is married to Reverend Gloria Jackson and they have 5
children; 2 sons-- Ira Jackson and Dedtrick Jackson, 3 daughters Tarash,
Parnell and Dr. Penny Jackson. He and his wife have 9 grandchildren.
He is a Pastor and Presiding Elder of The House of God Church Keith
Dominion . Pastor Jackson is also the lead singer for the gospel group
Brothers and Sisters.
He is the founder and CEO of Willacoochee Peach Music Records, President
of Jackson Consultant & Sales for Jackson Church Furniture, CEO of Blessed
Auto Sales and Services, Inc., and an officer with Soteria Distribution,
Inc.
He is a member of the NAACP, the 100 Black Men of Southeast Georgia,
Advisory Board Member of Capitol City Bank and Trust, Albany, GA, and
currently serves as Executive Vice-President of the American Gospel
Quartet Convention.
He is a songwriter and have written numerous songs for his group and
others.
